DreamCatcher Child Development, LLC was established by Kawiana D. Young in 2009. The motto of the organization is "With man, this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible." (Matthew 19:26). The vision for the organization started when Kawiana opened her Family Child Care Home (FCCH). Within six years of operating from her home, she outgrew the space. With faith and guidance, Kawiana moved into a childcare facility and touched many military and civilian families' lives by taking care of their children. DreamCatcher is not just a home away from home; it is a structured learning environment that instills good Christian values. Kawiana attributes her dreams, vision, and success to God because without Him, she wouldn't be where she is today.

Shekera is an outstanding Center Director at DreamCatcher located at Hardscrabble. Her role is filled with contagious enthusiasm, warmth, and creativity, and she brings a wealth of experience and leadership skills that make her a perfect fit for our center.
